CHALLENGE: Pepsi produces an annual event for its Top 200 North America partners to demonstrate its market leadership and new technology vision. Augmented Reality (AR) using HUD (head mounted display) was selected as a dynamic method and hardware for the occasion.
Spinar was chosen to develop the creative software for the event and employed Epson Moverio BT 200 as the most effective hardware for execution. Spinar conceived and developed the idea of ‘Pepsi Through the Ages’ using Pepsi selected iconic images from the 1940’s to present. Wearing the BT 200 Pepsi partners focused the viewer headset on a Pepsi can and with finger swipes 80 years of Pepsi Marketing Campaigns images appeared in AR.
